We can only take telephone orders from UK schools wishing to pay by Purchase Order - all credit/debit card payments must be made via the website, through the secure payment page. When you have finished adding items to your Cart, proceed to ‘Checkout’. When you have completed your invoice address details and accepted the Terms and Conditions, you will be asked to select one of three payment methods - either Payment by WorldPay (credit/debit card), Invoice with Order (UK school option only) or Payment by cheque.

PAYMENT BY WORLDPAY (CREDIT / DEBIT CARD)

To take online payments securely we use WorldPay. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron and JCB card.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept Amex cards.

If you choose to pay by WorldPay, you will be asked to click on a logo which matches your card and you will then be taken through to the WorldPay Secure Payment page.

Fill in the details as requested on the page, carefully checking for any errors. You MUST amend your BILLING Address if it is incorrect. The address you enter is used to confirm your identity. This is done by checking the details held by your card issuer against those given. If you enter an address which is not your billing address, you may be asked to provide further identification which may slow down your order.

When you submit your details, they will be checked. If the pre-authorisation is accepted, you will see a confirmation on-screen, and receive an email confirmation from WorldPay.

Please note: Remember to click on the 'View Merchant Receipt' at the end of the WorldPay payment process. This will ensure that you receive an email from us confirming we have received your order.

PAYMENT BY CHEQUE

If you select ‘Cheque Payment’ as your payment method, simply print off your order confirmation and post it to us with your cheque for the full amount to:

Cheques should be made payable to ‘Focus on Phonics Limited’. Please write your address on the reverse of the cheque.

INVOICE WITH ORDER (UK SCHOOL OPTION ONLY)

Schools can still place orders online - when you have completed your selection, please choose the 'Invoice with order' option in the drop-down menu. Please see our School Orders page for more details.

Alternatively, you can send your purchase order (on school or education authority headed notepaper) by mail or by fax (01737 842017). An invoice will be sent out with your goods - payment terms are 30 days from the invoice date.

UK Delivery Rate
For our purposes, the UK includes England (inc. Highlands and Islands), Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses. Delivery to customers in the UK is free for orders over £35 before VAT. (VAT will apply to games, tapes and CDs). For orders less than £35 before VAT, we charge £2.95 per order. The VAT rate for delivery charges is calculated in proportion to the VAT on the goods supplied.

International Delivery Rates
If you are ordering from the the Republic of Ireland, Europe or other World-wide destination, delivery costs are dependent on the size and weight of the parcel and the country it is being delivered to. Please see our International Orders page before placing your order.

If you buy products containing a book and an item such as a CD-ROM (mixed media), the VAT charged is dependent on the proportion of the total cost subject to VAT. The VAT rate on delivery reflects the VAT rate of the items we are sending you.

Orders within the E.U.
All prices include VAT charged at the current rate of 20% where applicable and this is chargeable on all orders within the European Union.

Orders outside the E.U.
For orders outside the EU, VAT is generally not chargeable. Destinations outside the EU may be subject to import duty. These are not included in our prices and are the responsibility of customers to pay on or after receipt of goods.

Goods will be despatched as soon as possible on receipt of your order as most items are held in stock - this is usually on the same or next available working day. We will of course contact you if there is likely to be any delay in despatching your items. Delivery time will depend on the shipment method - you should receive an email notifying you of the estimated delivery date. If your order is being sent by courier, you will receive details of how to track your parcel delivery. .

We hope that you will be fully satisfied with the goods that you have bought. However, if you do wish to return any items from your order, please do so within 14 days of receipt, un-marked and un-damaged (in resalable condition) for either a full refund of the value of the goods or an exchange. Please note that any product packaging (e.g. on CD-ROMS, tapes, etc.) must be unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) for us to be able to issue a refund. We can only accept the return of opened packaged items if they are faulty.

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within a cooling off period of seven working days from the day after the date the item is delivered.

Unless the goods are faulty or sent in error, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend you use recorded delivery and obtain insurance, as proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

If you receive goods that are faulty or have been damaged in transit, please let us know straight away and we will either offer you a full refund or replace the goods at our cost.

Refunds are normally processed within 7 days of receipt.

Our guarantees are provided in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
