Oxford Reading Tree: Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters (age 4 +)

Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters - overview

Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters is a systematic synthetic phonics teaching programme, developed by phonics expert Debbie Hepplewhite, that offers practical guidance and multi-sensory resources to support teaching and learning in school and at home.

Sounds and graphemes are taught using the Sounds and Letters CD-ROM, Flashcards and Frieze and practised with the Sounds and Letters Books and Activity Sheets.

Sounds and Letters reading books are for Phase 1 to 5 in 'Letters and Sounds' (Nursery / Reception Year and Year One).

After each level of the Sounds and Letters books, further practise stories are provided by Floppy's Phonics Fiction and Non-fiction books that can be found in the Decodable Phonics Reading Books section.
